Charis Kouthouris is Professor of Leisure Management at the University of Thessaly and a trainer for the DETOUR Project in Greece. He spoke on the ERT radio programme ‘Greece in the World’ with Giorgos Dionysopoulos.
During his interview, he explained what DETOUR is, what its objectives are, and how it has brought Greece, Italy, Bulgaria and Turkey together in a joint effort: to provide training and support to small and medium-sized tourism businesses, enabling them to take meaningful steps towards the green transition.
