Training in ecological construction by helping the community
Objective : The Hands for Homes solidarity workshops offer training in the use of
natural materials for construction, as part of local ecological projects for rural communities.
Target audience:
These trainings are organized in two parts:
Worksite Part 1: open to all (free participation)
Worksite Part 2: professionals and future construction professionals (masons, architects, engineers) as well as amateurs wishing to learn new techniques for their personal use (paid participation)
- Worksite part 1 – Discover eco-construction on a voluntary basis
- Worksite part 2 – Training in eco-construction techniques using raw earth and lime materials
Maximum number of participants : 10 people
Participation fee
- Worksite part 1 -– Discovering basic eco-construction work: workshops open free of charge to volunteers
- Worksite part 2 – Training in eco-construction techniques using raw earth and lime materials: 55 € / day (may vary depending on the final number of participants, the duration and location of the training -to be announced closer to the delivery dates )
Certification : A certificate of attendance will be delivered by the MCE
