Through European programs and an experience of more than 25 years in rural development and promotion of local heritage, the MCE has developed several Professional training packages on topics related to Natural & Cultural Heritage and Local Development. As we are convinced of the crucial role that youth can play in promoting sustainability and peace in Europe and in the Mediterranean, our organisation develops also training and learning programs adapted to young public.

The Mediterranean Centre of Environment sets up local, national and European projects in order to contribute to the Euro-Mediterranean dialogue, encouraging joint action and mutual respect of the various cultures, and carries out local programs aimed at preserving and enhancing natural and cultural heritage.

The Mediterranean Centre of Environment is assisting in sustainable tourism projects. In line with our main concerns, we advise and support rural tourism professionals in Greece and contribute to the development of local sustainable tourism projects.
