The general idea of this project is anchored in the new 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the UN. The objective is to promote the values of sustainability and to increase global awareness of people who are able to internalize these values and transform them into sustainable everyday practices.

Beyond the global character of the issue that we are dealing with, we want to aim our action specifically at those professionals (educators, tutors, and teachers) who have a possibility to reproduce the message, given their positions. This is done by creating awareness and promotion of a regular debate consisting of practices and innovation.

With this project we want to continue the action that we have started in 2019 in the VET field through Stairway to SDG’s project in which we built a specific platform and an APP so that teachers could work on the SDGs with the students in the classroom.

Stairway to SDG 3.0 wants to keep and promote a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and technological approach in order to prepare and train our “Sustainability Makers”. Our goal is to involve trainers and teachers during the whole process of creation and design of an e-learning platform and a 2D game about the SDGs.

The pilot experiences activated in Spain, Greece, Portugal, Belgium, Romania and Italy will provide trainers with illustrations of the best use of these new tools in a Manual of good practices oriented to VET.
